BioThe Warren Wilson College Women's Resource Center was born during the 2005-06 school year and resides in the basement of Stephenson.
Mission Statement
The Warren Wilson Women’s Resource center aims to provide a safe space to foster women’s health, community and safety. By providing a wide range of resources including literature and information on reproductive health, transportation to women’s healthcare providers, and peer counseling; women will have the opportunity to develop a stronger sense of self and community. Making these resources available to the entire student body contributes to the realization of the Warren Wilson mission statement.
I created this account to post some news, events, articles, but also to have a link to LOTS OF AWESOME LJ COMMUNITIES that relate to issues that we hope to address at the wrc! From women's herbalism, radical sex, queer theology, and so much more, CHECK OUT THE FRIEND'S PAGE LINK!
