WE HAVE A COMPUTER!!!
this took a year, but we have a working computer with the interweb! It's in the side room, the one with the red door. We are keeping this room locked when we are not around, but the crew members, supervisor, and the RD have keys. We are working to compile lots of internet resources for y'all.
so now that we have a computer and a $200,000 grant, i'd say we can basically do anything.

For now, i'm gonna make the friends page of this account be the homepage for the computer. Because it would be dorky and fun.

Here is a interesting article my dad sent to me. It is about a transgendered M->F neuroscientist at Harvard and MIT reflecting on his treatment in the academic world as both genders.

So I formed this Livejournal account for two reasons, one is that we can post events, news, articles, stories, and pictures. If you want to post something, email me for the password. (rsender at warren-wilson dot edu)

The second reason is that there are so so so many relevant and cool communities on livejournal that directly address the issues we hope to address at the wrc. Click on the "Friends" link to look at some of the communities that we are subscribed to and feel free to post on those communities as well.
